Jurgen Klopp shocked the football world last Friday, as he declared he’d be leaving his job as Liverpool manager come the end of the season.

Klopp is in his ninth year at Liverpool, and no one expected him to leave just like that.

Nathan Ake has reacted to the news while also saying that he won’t want for Man City manager Pep to have same thoughts.

Ake said: “I don’t want to even think about it. Obviously, it was a bit of a shock for everyone to see the news [about Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool].

“Klopp’s a very good manager and done so well at Liverpool. For the Premier League, he will be a big loss. But it didn’t change anything for us here. We are just focused on ourselves.”
