Pep Guardiola reveals what he expects ahead of facing Chelsea

Pep Guardiola has claimed that Chelsea are a difficult side to play against, and they know how to keep the ball.

Guardiola said this ahead of the Blues’ Premier League game with Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Chelsea are looking to climb to seventh place on the league table, and could do so with a win at the Etihad this weekend, while Man City have an eye on the top of the Premier League table.

The Blues will however, have to be at their absolute best to stand a chance against the reigning champions, who have won all 11 of their previous matches across all competitions.

Speaking during a press conference on Friday, City manager, Guardiola said he fully expects an exciting match with Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who he also claimed have ‘intense quality’.

“They playing really really good last few games. They have everything: intense, quality, able to not lose the ball,” the City boss said. “They are a really good team, tough one tomorrow.”
