Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed Oleksandr Zinchenko is leaving the club for Premier League side Arsenal.

The Ukraine international makes the move to Arsenal after six years at Manchester City, during which he won four Premier League titles, four Carabao Cups and one FA Cup.

Guardiola said: “I’ll say on behalf of the club our gratitude on and off the pitch. It was nice yesterday with Oleks because we could say bye properly. Unfortunately, Gabi [Gabriel Jesus] and Raheem [Sterling] could not do it but with him we could and he moves on to Arsenal.”

Zinchenko is the second Manchester City player to join Arsenal this summer after Gabriel Jesus joined Arsenal earlier this month.

Raheem Sterling also left Manchester City this summer for Premier League rivals Chelsea.
