Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed what he told his players ahead of the international break

As many as 20 Manchester City players will be jetting off to represent their nation’s on international duty across the next two weeks.

“We’ll pray for them to come back with no injuries, please,” Guardiola admitted.

“I said to the players, ‘Come back fit. You know exactly what you need. Here (at Manchester City) you work every day with our incredible backroom staff. What you need to be fit, you have to do it with the national teams’.”

Guardiola continued: “Hopefully the managers and everyone takes care of the players as best as possible.”
