Inter Milan president Steven Zhang was inconsolable as he was barely able to hold back the tears after his team suffered another defeat in an European final under him.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via Sempreinter, the Inter Milan chairman was “literally destroyed, disappointed, almost inconsolable”, just like his players.

Inter Milan lost their first European final under the ownership of Suning and the Zhang family in 2020 to Sevilla in the Europa League.

The report adds that the 31 year old Inter Milan president remains proud of his Inter Milan side despite the Champions League defeat to Manchester City.
