According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez has completed his medical tests as new Al Ahli player.

Romano tweeted: “Riyad Mahrez has completed medical tests as new Al Ahli player.

“On his way to Saudi soon — he will play with Édou Mendy, Roberto Firmino and waiting for Allan Saint-Maximin.”

Romano had previously revealed Al Ahli will pay Manchester City €30million plus €5million in add-ons for the transfer of Mahrez, who will sign a contract until 2027.

“Another imminent deal for City is for Riyad Mahrez to leave and join Al Ahli. The clubs are now exchanging documents on this €30m deal plus €5m add-ons, and Mahrez will sign a contract until 2027. The agreement is there, and he’ll now have his medical to become an Al Ahli player,” Romano told Caughtoffside.
