According to The Telegraph via PSG Talk, French giants Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips during the January transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain are keen on strengthening their squad for the second-half of the season and has identified Phillips as a player that could strengthen their midfield.

However, the report doesn’t state whether this will be a loan move from PSG or if the French giants will pay a transfer fee for the Englishman.

Phillips has played just 89 minutes in the Premier League for Manchester City this season and made zero starts.

The 28-year-old has featured ten times for City across all competitions, but he is not a key player for Pep Guardiola.

Paris Saint-Germain aren’t the only club interested in signing Phillips this January. Newcastle United and Italian side Juventus are also interested in signing the Englishman.
