Manchester City are poised to secure the signature of Girona’s standout winger, Savio, this upcoming summer, according to insiders speaking to Football Insider.

Though an official announcement has yet to be made, sources suggest that an agreement for Savio’s transfer is fully in place, with the move expected to be finalized at the season’s conclusion.
Girona, which is part of the City Football Group alongside Manchester City, have seen Savio excel in La Liga this season.
At just 19 years old, Savio has already made a significant impact at Girona, contributing 10 goals and seven assists across all competitions.
Currently on loan from Troyes, a Ligue 2 team that is also under the City Football Group’s umbrella, Savio is slated to join Manchester City for the forthcoming season.
His time at Troyes didn’t feature any senior team appearances, but he did spend a loan period with Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven during the 2022-23 season.
Savio has played a pivotal role in Girona’s remarkable performance in La Liga, where they have recently been in contention for the top spot but currently hold second place, narrowly leading Barcelona by one point and trailing Real Madrid by seven points.
Though primarily utilized as a left-winger, Savio has also been deployed in left midfield and attacking midfield positions throughout this campaign.
