According to a report on GOAL, Saudi club Al Ahli have turned their attention on Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez this summer after missing out on Lionel Messi.

The report adds: “The Saudi Pro League side’s club president Waleed Muaath is reported to have flown to London to join PIF delegation in their attempts to sign the winger, who still has two years left to run on a contract that he renewed just last season.

“The 32-year-old Algerian winger, who has been a key feature in Pep Guardiola’s team this season, contributing to 27 goals in 47 matches.”
